GETTING HERE/PARKING

Greensboro is easily accessible by plane, train, or car. The nearest airport is the Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI), and the local Amtrak station is very close to downtown. When you book your stay, just let us know if you’d like to be picked up. If you’re traveling by car, follow the directions below.

From Asheville, NC: Take I-40E. Use exit 214B for Wendover Ave. E and turn right onto Wendover. Take the Market St. ramp toward downtown and turn right onto W Market St. Turn left onto Mendenhall St., cross Friendly Ave., and we are the second house on the right.

From Raleigh, NC: Take I-40W/I-85 BUS S toward Greensboro/Winston-Salem. Use exit 224 to merge onto Gate City Blvd. toward US-29 N/US-220 N. Turn right onto Murrow Blvd. Turn left onto Friendly Ave. Turn right onto Mendenhall St., and we are the second house on the right.

From Charlotte, NC: Take I-85 N and follow signs for US 29/US 70E to Greensboro. Take exit 35B to merge onto US 220N toward I-40W/Coliseum Area. Keep left to continue onto Freeman Mill Road. Continue onto S Edgeworth St., and turn left on Friendly Ave. Turn right onto Mendenhall St., and we are the second house on the right.

Parking: Guests may park in the back of Double Oaks, which you can access by pulling into the driveway. Please note: the driveway is rather narrow, but there is ample space to turn around in the back. Guests can also park on either side of Mendenhall St. directly in front of Double Oaks if you are unsure whether your vehicle will fit through the porte-cochère.
